they need to make guild wars more challenging for the truly elite pve players (not that i consider myself as one of these). I know that they brought out hard mode, but still some people are complaining that it really isnt that hard... This armour would be a fantastic idea and seems just the kind of thing that guild wars needs!

The general idea of this particular thread is that there should be A. Some really hard PvE experience to defeat that is not overly time consuming. B armor as the reward for doing it, so that everyone would know you did it.

AI shouldn't be improved through all the whole game b/c basically, your average player just suck and can not and refuse not to cooperate in missions and use some skills. Improve AI for that specific area for that armor is nice. I agree, rewards for tombing is a Hero's title, GVG is the capes, wealth and economic management fow armor and shows u've got some skills. Pure pve skills for that new armor u mentioned. But it its meant for the next installment i probably won't be able to enjoy it. still

even though if this does go through, please for the love of all goodness sake, make the armor look really amazing, like having glowing wings the magonite have or something, something that glows and really use some resources your computer have. not like the fow assasin armor that absolutely looks like bull poop. How bout something that looks like those leet NPC armor has? Like some of those armors that anet uses for advertisment. Really I bought GW b/c of that ad and saw how cool those armor looks. To my disaapointment......its false advertisment....

First off, I would like to say /signed (although I agree that it should be improved AI rather than pumped levels).
I had a similar idea a while back, but based on the cartography title tracks.
After obtaining Grandmaster in all of the tracks, you would be granted access to a special area where you could craft unique armour.
Hell, you could make this idea apply to each title track, opening up unique armours for each track.
The framework's there, it just needs someone at ANet to get off of their butts and do it.
Rewards based on achievements FTW.

YOu know thats true. More items in general should be based off of achievements . Other than a little title under your name that no one ever reads, this game has very few rewards for different achievements.(and we didn't even have those for a long time) Sure theres rare items but those get sold to any old farmer, nothing that says, hey i did such and such, this nontradable armor/weapon/glowing eyeball/whatever proves it.
